Drought Conditions Return Across North and Central Texas
After a wet late spring and early summer, prolonged heat and limited rainfall have driven a rapid return of drought conditions across much of North and Central Texas. The National Weather Service reports widespread Moderate Drought with pockets of Severe Drought returning to portions of North Texas.

A Texas A&M AgriLife laboratory that helps protect Texas crops, nurseries and exports from disease has become one of about 20 labs nationwide — and the first in Texas — to earn Core Accreditation from the National Plant Diagnostic Network.
